Holding the role of Head of Department at Haifa University's Art Department from 1975 to 1994, she has influenced countless aspiring artists. Batia's figurative paintings explore personal history and cultural motifs, often blur the line between reality and representation. inviting viewers to contemplate the enduring value of handmade art in a mass-produced world.
